Mr. Gechijian is the Director of the Worker’s Compensation department in the firm’s Jupiter office. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Monmouth University in West Long Branch, New Jersey. He received his Juris Doctor degree from St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami, Florida in 1999. He was born in Massachusetts, then relocated to New Jersey for college. Ara eventually moved to Florida where he has lived for the past 26 years.
While attending law school, Mr. Gechijian was the President of the Student Bar Association as well as the Armenian Law Society. After graduation, Mr. Gechijian began his legal career as a worker’s compensation defense attorney and did so for 22 years. During this time, Mr. Gechijian gained an extensive amount of experience in handling work injury lawsuits from a defense perspective. It’s this experience that enables Mr. Gechijian to precisely navigate your worker’s compensation suit for the best results for you – the injured worker.
Throughout his practice, he has negotiated hundreds of settlements involving many medically and legally complex cases. His experience brings familiarity with the complex worker’s compensation system. He has handled cases involving everything ranging from a minor fall to multiple-party suits involving multiple insurance companies and employers. His dedication to his ethics and a high standard of practice have earned him a well-respected reputation in the legal community amongst judges, counsel, mediators, and clients.
Mr. Gechijian is a member of the Worker’s Compensation Section of the Florida Bar. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his family, attending sporting events, and relaxing.

Prior to founding Keller, Melchiorre & Walsh, PLLC, Mr. Melchiorre was a partner in a local defense firm and an Assistant State Attorney at the Palm Beach County State Attorney’s Office. Here he rose through the ranks quickly and was also recognized as a Rising Star. As a prosecutor and known leader, Mr. Melchiorre was a supervisor of all County Court prosecutors and held the position of Assistant Chief of County Court. During his time as a prosecutor, Mr. Melchiorre prosecuted a wide range of cases, including first degree murder. Additionally, he was appointed by the Governor to handle Executive Assignments where he was specifically selected to prosecute cases in other jurisdictions. Impressed by his innate fairness as a prosecutor and his ability to lead, he quickly earned the respect and admiration of local lawyers and judges. Mr. Melchiorre then transitioned into private practice in 2012.
Mr. Melchiorre has had more than 50 jury and non-jury trials, which is more than most attorneys will have in a lifetime. Mr. Melchiorre handles a wide range of state and federal criminal cases, including DUI manslaughter, DUI serious bodily injury, battery assault, sex crimes, computer crimes, all crimes against children, all drug offenses, drug trafficking, all white collar crimes, Nebbia Hold Hearings, violation of probation, juvenile offenses, BUI, DUI, and all other misdemeanors and serious felonies in state and federal courts. Mr. Melchiorre’s desire to help people in need led him to expand his practice to include personal injury, as well. Mr. Melchiorre handles a wide range of personal injury cases: car accidents, wrongful death, slip and fall, negligent security, and medical malpractice.
Mr. Melchiorre’s stellar reputation has led to very favorable results for his clients on all types of cases. Mr. Melchiorre is licensed to practice in Florida; Ohio; and the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Florida. Mr. Melchiorre practices in all Florida State Courts, Ohio State Courts, and Federal Courts in the United States. Mr. Melchiorre is a member of the Palm Beach County Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Palm Beach County Bar Young Lawyers, and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
Mr. Melchiorre spent his early years in South Florida before moving to Ohio to complete high school and college. He received his B.S. from Ohio State University and earned his law degree from the University of Akron School of Law. Mr. Melchiorre resides with his wife and two sons in Jupiter.

Prior to founding Keller, Melchiorre & Walsh, PLLC, Mr. Walsh was a partner at a well-known criminal defense firm and a prosecutor in the Drug Unit and Organized Crime Unit of the Palm Beach County State Attorney’s Office. Here he gained the respect of his office, defense lawyers, and judges. Mr. Walsh’s experience as a former prosecutor has given him priceless experience to evaluate any criminal case from both sides, which provides him with a unique advantage inside and outside the courtroom. This experience, hard work, and dedication to his clients yields numerous favorable dispositions, including dismissal of charges, reduction in sentences, and winning numerous pre-trial motions.
Mr. Walsh has tried more than 80 jury and non-jury trials, more than most lawyers will have in their career. As an experienced West Palm Beach litigator who is not afraid of the courtroom, Mr. Walsh tends to be more prepared than his contemporaries. Mr. Walsh handles all criminal cases: all drug cases, including drug trafficking, “pill mill” cases, organized crime cases, RICO, all sex crimes, sexual assault/battery, human sex trafficking, DUI, home invasion robbery, carjacking, BUI, and all misdemeanor and serious felony charges in both state and federal courts.
Mr. Walsh has spent his career seeking justice for his clients, and this dedication includes representing those who have been injured as a result of the negligence of others. Mr. Walsh aggressively represents victims of personal injury involving motor vehicle accidents, wrongful death, medical malpractice, and premises liability. Mr. Walsh utilizes his skills and experience as a trial attorney to pursue justice for all of his clients who have been injured.
Jessica Rios began her legal career in 2009 and has spent a majority of her career working in the litigation area of personal injury law. Her work experience includes many years working with other high-profile law firms in Palm Beach County focusing on litigating bodily injury, premises liability, products liability and some class-action matters. She brings a strong background in paralegal skills and is able to assist in all aspects of litigation, legal investigation, strategy development, settlement negotiations and trial preparation. Her compassion and commitment to helping others, along with her hard world and dedication, has helped many clients receive the justice they deserve.
Jessica is originally from Venezuela and fluent in Spanish. She resides in Jupiter, FL, with her son Christopher. She enjoys traveling, being outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
Arye Corbett has dedicated his legal career to representing people when they need help the most. Arye has worked with the Office of the Public Defender, handled over a thousand criminal cases, and was a felony trial division chief. Eventually, Mr. Corbett joined the private sector and began working to protect victims 0f personal injury.
Attorney Michelle Nichols DeLong is the Director of the Medical Malpractice and Nursing Home Negligence Division of the law firm Keller Melchiorre & Walsh (KMW). Michelle has a proven track record of successfully litigating medical negligence and nursing home abuse cases on behalf of her clients—victims of catastrophic injuries and wrongful death— to resolution. Michelle’s clients would describe her as a compassionate lawyer, but a fierce advocate.
Michelle obtained her law degree from Nova Southeastern University and graduated magna cum laude. Michelle was a member of the Nova Law Review. While in law school, she earned several merit-based scholarships and was named the first-place winner of the annual ABA Mendes Hershman Student Writing Contest. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a major in Marketing from the University of Florida and graduated cum laude.
Prior to joining Keller Melchiorre & Walsh, Michelle worked in a boutique law firm where she gained invaluable experience in complex personal injury matters. Michelle also has experience prosecuting complex commercial litigation matters in Florida state courts and federal courts across the nation. She is licensed to practice law in Florida and admitted to practice in the Southern, Middle, and Northern United States District Courts of Florida.
Before Michelle obtained her law degree, she worked in sales, marketing, and management for a variety of well-known wholesale and retail companies where she gained direct knowledge of the inner workings of the business world. This knowledge has assisted her tremendously in the day-to-day management of her legal practice and communicating effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the legal community at large.
Michelle plays an active role in the Florida Justice Association (FJA), a state-wide organization for trial lawyers. She is a current elected Board Member of the FJA and is a Past Chair of the FJA Women’s Caucus (2019–2020). Michelle is passionate about promoting reformation of the law to ensure that women are treated fairly and equally in the legal profession. She also has a passion for lobbying on behalf of the citizens of Florida to ensure their constitutional state rights are protected.
Destiny Barbosa is an attorney with the Keller, Melchiorre, and Walsh in Palm Beach County, Florida. Her passion for helping others has focused her practice areas on personal injury and property damage. As a trial attorney, she fights for those who have been catastrophically injured by the negligence and wrongdoing of others.
Ms. Barbosa earned her Juris Doctorate in Jacksonville, Florida. She graduated law school early, with Cum Laude Honors, and received a certificate in Civil Litigation. During law school, she was a member of the Phi Delta Phi International Legal Honor Society, received multiple Dean’s List honors, and earned book awards for the highest grades in Contracts II and Dependency. In Jacksonville, she worked as a clerk for Judge Waddell Wallace III, in Repeat Felony Offender Court, conducting research on Florida’s Habitual Felony Offender Statute and Ineffective Assistance of Counsel cases. Following her clerkship, Ms. Barbosa became a Certified Legal Intern with the State Attorney’s Office.
Ms. Barbosa has lectured on the topics of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and the importance of taking steps to preserve critical evidence in personal injury cases. She sits on the Board of the Palm Beach County Justice Association (2022), the Palm Beach County Hispanic Bar Association (2023), and the Florida Justice Association’s Women’s Caucus (2022). She was presented with the “Top 40 Under 40” award by the National Trial Lawyers Association in 2021.
Ms. Barbosa enjoys spending time with her son and twin daughters when she is not in the courtroom.
Chris Kellam has focused his career on personal injury civil litigation. Chris spent the first ten years of his legal career handling personal injury claims for insurance companies. He has tried personal injury claims to jury verdict and has lectured other defense attorneys on claims handling. Chris’s experience taught him the tactics and strategies used often by insurance companies to deny claims, giving him a unique ability to fight for the rights of his clients. In 2018, he decided to transition his practice to helping those injured because of negligence. He joins Keller, Melchiorre & Walsh to fully utilize his experience as Director of Litigation. Chris brings to each case the foresight to navigate the insurance industry, as well as the drive to attain for his clients their best result.
Chris graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering. In addition to his undergraduate studies, Chris was a 14-time All-American swimmer who qualified for the 2000 and 2004 U.S. Olympic Trials. He then graduated from University of Florida’s Fredric G. Levin College of Law with a passion for civil litigation and for the court room.
Chris was born in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. After graduating from law school, he moved to Palm Beach County. He currently lives in Boynton Beach with his wife, Bari, and his two girls, Olivia and Elliotte. Chris has completed two Ironman triathlons and is an avid cyclist. He is a member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association’s Small Claims Committee and Lawyer’s for Literacy Committee. He also serves as a Guardian ad Litem volunteer.
Christopher J. Keller is an experienced plaintiff’s personal injury attorney. He concentrates his practice in the areas of Wrongful Death, Auto, Truck, Train & Motorcycle Accidents and Premises Liability.
Before founding Keller, Melchiorre & Walsh, PLLC, Mr. Keller practiced personal injury at a well-known West Palm Beach law firm, where he successfully resolved over 300 matters through settlement or trial. Mr. Keller began his legal career as an Assistant State Attorney in both Miami-Dade and Palm Beach Counties. Having conducted over 150 jury trials, Mr. Keller is no stranger to the demands of the courtroom. His extensive trial experience and passion for the practice of law allow him to make the maximum recovery for his clients.
Mr. Keller is committed to assisting clients in resolving their personal injury matters efficiently and amicably. While ready and willing to litigate, he is mindful of other financially and emotionally cost-effective alternatives, including mediation. Mr. Keller understands each client is unique; he is committed to diligently working with clients to execute strategies that resolve their matters under the most appropriate circumstances.
Mr. Keller is a member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association, the Florida Justice Association, and the Palm Beach County Justice Association. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Palm Beach County Justice Association. He is the past Chair of the Florida Justice Association, Young Lawyers’ Section. Additionally, Mr. Keller is the Board President for the Children’s Healing Institute.
Mr. Keller has been honored and recognized as a Rising Star (2014-2020) by Thompson Reuters Super Lawyers, an industry rating system that is peer-driven.
Mr. Keller is originally from Kentucky. He graduated cum laude from the University of Kentucky and attended law school at Ohio Northern University. He now resides in Jupiter, FL with his wife, their two sons, and their dog.
